Curver - As a veteran teacher I have always been concerned with giving fair grades. Fair meaning the grade represents how well students perform based on an arbitrary scale. The grade should not measure how hard or easy a test was. This often requires curving. Unfortunately too many teachers feel that curving means giving 5 or 10 points to everyone.
